Divisional Information

Hey Stingrays!

Tomorrow is our Divisionals meet where we will be playing against all 4 teams in our division.  I’ve attached maps for parking and setup.  Please read over them tonight in preparation for tomorrow.

Bleyl Middle School

10800 Mills Rd, Houston, TX 77070

Rules:

ZERO TOLERANCE for vaping, smoking, and alcohol.  You will be asked to leave the meet.

SWIMMERS:

Unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disciplinary action without warning.

Damage to facility will result in disciplinary action without warning.

Roaming the unauthorized areas of the school will result in disciplinary action without warning.

Noise makers and music are not allowed.

Water balloons, water guns, bubbles, and paints/crafts are not allowed.

Be the nice, kind, and supportive swimmers we expect you to be.

VOLUNTEERS:

Set up and tear-down should check in with Kat from SCF upon arrival and before leaving shift.

Please show up to your shift 2 events prior to scheduled.

Timers and Scribes are encouraged to bring their own water to be stored along the back wall.

PARENTS:

Parking on the grass, in access alcoves, or in fire lanes are NOT allowed.  Know that CFISD will tow your improperly parked vehicle.

Set up is not allowed in the natatorium.  Come and go seating is only allowed.  Food and drinks are not allowed as well.  Please be kind to each other leave after your swimmer’s race is completed.  The goal is for all parents to see their children swim.  Please be respectful and work together to accomplish this goal.

Food trucks will be available for purchase, but personal coolers to be left in the setup area are highly encouraged.  Our team will have Travelin’ Tom’s of Houston drink truck onsite from 1-4pm.  A portion of their sales will go directly to our team.  Please support their drink truck.

Our fundraiser onsite also includes a silent auction.  Reach out to a board member for more information including location of our table with multiple themed baskets.  All support is appreciated.

TONIGHT:

Eat a high carb dinner in preparation for tomorrow.  Pasta and breadsticks are encouraged.  Hydrate tonight in preparation for tomorrow as well.  Remember that hydration matters even at indoor meets.

We look forward to seeing our swimmers shine tomorrow.  Thank you so much for all of your hard work and support!

Go Stingrays!
